Early Emotional Signs Of Pregnancy

from: Karlie Bestler

Many women claim that they know they are pregnant as soon as they conceive. While this may be true, only a pregnancy test will be able to comfirm you are pregnant. You may see other signs of pregnancy before you take the test that may confirm your suspicions including:

* Increased fatigue
* Increased hunger or thirst
* Late or missed periods
* Light bleeding
* Muscle or joint pain
* Nausea
* Swollen breasts

Pregnancy signs will vary from one woman to another and in the intensity they are felt. Some women will have all or many of the physical signs while others will have fewer. One thing is for sure, you will have physical changes after you become pregnant.
These physical signs may be accompanied by emotional signs as well including:

* Mood swings
* Feelings of "something is different"
* Increased stress brought on by hormonal and physical changes

Emotional signs of pregnancy may be harder to see at first. If you are not feeling physically well, your emotions may be showing that.

Pregnancy signs caused by hormone changes are most noticeable during the earliest stages of pregnancy since this is when the increased production of hormones first occurs. These usually fade in the second trimester. By then hormone surges usually decrease. The only cure is patience, good nutrition and pregnancy friendly exercise. It also helps to get plenty of rest.

If you are in tune with your body and your emotions, you may notice slight changes that may signal that you are pregnant.

Mood swings

Depending on your personality, mood swings may or may not be easy to see. If you are happy one minute and crying the next, there might be something going on with your hormones to cause these swings of emotion.

Withdrawing from others

Because of increased fatigue, you may find yourself wanting to be alone more often. This could be a sign that you are pregnant.

Depression

Most people are happy to find out that they are pregnant. If you have not realized yet and are dealing with physical changes to your body, you could become depressed. You should visit your doctor as soon as possible to end your depression and begin celebrating the coming of your new baby.
